Meet Tami

As a reverend and chaplain, I am tolerant of diverse perspectives and beliefs. This tolerance allows me to serve effectively in various roles, from supporting families in crisis to advocating for women’s rights. My ability to listen and understand different viewpoints fosters a sense of community and inclusivity, which is essential in my work with the Jersey City Police Department and other organizations.

I am tenacious in my pursuit of helping others. Whether it’s through founding and leading organizations like Angels Care Home Healthcare or advocating for change as part of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, I remain committed to my goals. My tenacity drives me to overcome challenges and push forward, even in the face of adversity, ensuring that my efforts make a lasting impact.

As a leader and advocate, I am tough-skinned, able to handle criticism and challenges with resilience. This resilience is crucial in navigating the complexities of community service and advocacy. It allows me to maintain focus on my objectives, even when faced with opposition or skepticism, and to continue working tirelessly for the causes I believe in.

I am transparent in my actions and intentions. Transparency is vital in building trust with the communities I serve. By being open and honest, I foster an environment of accountability and integrity, which is essential for effective leadership and collaboration. This transparency also helps in maintaining strong relationships with colleagues and the public.
